Georgetown-Ridge Farm came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Salt Fork Storm on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. The Buffaloes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Milee Ellis paced Georgetown-Ridge Farm's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ellis got some help from Rubyrae Fraser-Soule and her 17 assists. Finally, Katie Wersich kept Georgetown-Ridge Farm's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's record now sits at 11-4. As for Salt Fork, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Georgetown-Ridge Farm will face off against Watseka at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salt Fork, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Red Hill on the 27th.
