Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Choctaw County last Tuesday, Jackson came back down to earth. The Aggies lost 12-1 to the W.S. Neal Eagles on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Aggies in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Jackson now has a losing record of 8-9. As for W.S. Neal, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

While Jackson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
