Volleyball Recap: Manila Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Manila was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Rich Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Manila ultimately came up short, they really made Rich work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 25-8, 25-16.

Paige Smith had a dynamite game For Rich., getting 24 digs and three aces. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 19 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Manila's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Rich, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 15-11.

Looking ahead, Manila will challenge Wayne at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Rich does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
