Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saugatuck). They put the hurt on the Fennville Blackhawks with a sharp 17-5 victory on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Trailblazers, who have now won four contests in a row.

Saugatuck's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Fennville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saugatuck will square off against Martin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
