Softball Recap: Juarez-Lincoln Comes Up Short

Juarez-Lincoln lost against Rio Grande City back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Juarez-Lincoln Huskies lost 16-3 to the Rio Grande City Rattlers. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Juarez-Lincoln saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roselynn Torres, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Juarez-Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Rio Grande City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Juarez-Lincoln will host Mission Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for Rio Grande City, they will square off against Nixon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Rio Grande City's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five matches.
