Baseball Recap: Meade County Takes a Loss

Meade County suffered their closest loss since April 25, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Wednesday.

Meade County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Rhodes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meade County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Breckinridge County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Meade County will welcome DeSales at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Breckinridge County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Edmonson County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
