Basketball Recap: Atlanta Takes a Loss

Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Hillman Tigers and fell 68-24. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-16.

Brenden Rouleau continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hillman, going 8 of 14 from beyond the arc to rack up 30 points and three steals. Those 30 points gave Rouleau a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Crane, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 boards.

Atlanta's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Hillman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Atlanta will head out on the road to face off against Au Gres-Sims at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillman, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
