Football Recap: Grandview Wolves vs. Regis Jesuit Raiders
Grandview had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Regis Jesuit Raiders by a score of 13-6. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Wolves were the (much) better team in the second half.
Grandview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooke Sullivan out in front who picked up 92 receiving yards and two TDs. Sullivan also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making one tackle and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception. K'Dence Thomas was another key signal caller, throwing for 62 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Grandview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Londyn McClain led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.
Coming up, Grandview will head out on the road to square off against Columbine at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Regis Jesuit, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Eaglecrest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
