Riverdale has gone a perfect 4-0 against Upper Scioto Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Falcons will challenge the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Riverdale is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Riverdale couldn't beat Arcadia on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Falcons lost 15-5 to the Redskins.

Upper Scioto Valley had taken Ridgemont down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Rams fell 15-12 to the Golden Gophers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (11), the Rams still had to take the loss.

Gracie Carl led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Ashlyn Downing was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Upper Scioto Valley, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-7.

Riverdale got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 against Upper Scioto Valley by a conclusive 10-3 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
