            Basketball Recap: St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers vs. Washington International Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
             The third road  contest was the charm for St. Anselm's Abbey, as they earned their first road win of the season. Everything went their way against the Washington International Red Devils on Friday as the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers made off with  a  49-23 victory. With the Panthers ahead  29-8 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
 Leading St. Anselm's Abbey to victory were  Max Leeman and  Mario Camara Paslar.  Leeman  went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points, while  Camara Paslar  scored 11 points along with two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Byrd, who  scored five points in addition to three  steals.
 St. Anselm's Abbey's win  ended  an  11-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-2. As for Washington International,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Anselm's Abbey will welcome Washington Waldorf  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Washington International, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Field  at 6:00  p.m. Washington International is facing Field at the right time seeing as Field is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
