Softball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View and Hurricane squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mountain View had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Mountain View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callie Huff, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Hurricane, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-17.

While Mountain View had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
