Basketball Recap: Lipan Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

The matchup between Lipan and Gordon on Tuesday hardly resembled the 32-31 effort from their previous meeting. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Lipan Indians made off with a 54-53 win over the Gordon Longhorns. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lipan pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Gordon, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Lipan will host Graford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Graford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Lipan likes a good challenge. As for Gordon, they will welcome Stephenville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
