Baseball Recap: Blair Takes a Loss

Blair lost against Sayre back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Broncos came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-6.

Blake Martin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. Christian Castillo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Blair's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Sayre, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Coming up, Blair will face off against Fletcher at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Sayre, they will challenge Sentinel at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
