Football Game Preview: Rockridge Rockets vs. Tri-Valley Vikings

The Rockridge Rockets will take on the Tri-Valley Vikings at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rockridge will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Rockridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 56-12 win over Illini West. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rockets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Chargers are ranked 357th).

Meanwhile, while Tri-Valley put up plenty of points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Richards. The Vikings simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Warriors 44-0. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won six matchups by 35 points or more so far this season.

Rockridge's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Tri-Valley, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Rockridge came up short against Tri-Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, falling 47-42. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
