Baseball Game Preview: Whitehall Railroaders vs. Hadley Luzerne Eagles

Whitehall is 0-4 against Hadley Luzerne since May of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Railroaders will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Whitehall will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Whitehall came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-9 to Lake George. On the bright side, the nine- run performance marked the Railroaders' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Meanwhile, Hadley Luzerne played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over Hartford Central. The Eagles have beaten the Tanagers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tanagers has come to flipping the script.

Whitehall's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hadley Luzerne, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.
