Basketball Recap: Orange Grove Takes a Loss

Orange Grove won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They lost 53-27 to the Port Aransas Marlins. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Orange Grove's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Port Aransas, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Orange Grove will face off against IDEA North Mission at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. IDEA North Mission will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Orange Grove surely won't give up without a fight. As for Port Aransas, they will challenge Needville at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Needville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season.
