Bangor scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Messalonskee, 37-14. At the time, the Eagles were ranked 14th in the state, while the Rams were 48th.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Messalonskee, who took down 14th ranked Messalonskee, 37-14.

Skowhegan's Adam Clukey and Grant Benson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading A Pine Tree in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Clukey has thrown for 254 yards this season, while Benson has eight catches for 162 yards. Malik Geiger from Oxford Hills leads the league in rushing with 213 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Lawrence and Wes Littlefield's team. The Bulldogs comes into the matchup ranked third in the state, while the Eagles ranks 25th.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Lawrence takes on Messalonskee. John Hersom's team has allowed 85 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 100. The Bulldogs allowed 7 points last week as they beat Brunswick.

Lawrence extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Dragons, 34-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Bulldogs.
