Volleyball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre Comes Up Short

North Judson-San Pierre was the 3-2 winner over Wheeler when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluejays took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats on Wednesday. Bluejays fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bearcats since Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-9, 25-21.

Laylah McNamara had an outrageously good game for Wheeler as she had 16 digs and six assists. Those 16 digs gave McNamara a new career-high.

North Judson-San Pierre now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Wheeler, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Coming up, North Judson-San Pierre will take on Glenn at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wheeler, they will face off against Washington Township at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
