Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Prep Panthers vs. Carroll Bulldogs

Lincoln Prep hasn't had much luck against Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lincoln Prep Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Carroll Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Lincoln Prep is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They had to suffer through a 65-27 loss at the hands of St. Frederick.

Meanwhile, Carroll lost to Wossman on the road by a 47-28 margin on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Lincoln Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Lincoln Prep came up short against Carroll in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 38-32. Can Lincoln Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
