Baseball Recap: South Medford Wins Going Away Against Eagle Point

South Medford's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Eagle Point Eagles as South Medford made off with a 14-7 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Maximus Ihli looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, South Medford got a big performance out of Grady McQuillan, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Cooper Mitchell was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
