Volleyball Game Preview: DuBois Beavers vs. Johnsonburg Rams

The DuBois Beavers will head out to take on the Johnsonburg Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. DuBois is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

While DuBois' victory against St. Marys wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Beavers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Flying Dutch on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Beavers have posted since September 14, 2024.

Meanwhile, Johnsonburg came up short against Bradford on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Johnsonburg was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bradford's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 27-25.

DuBois' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Johnsonburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
