Prescott is 7-2 against Mingus since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Prescott Badgers will host the Mingus Marauders at 5:00 p.m. Both have allowed few goals on average, (Prescott: 0.2, Mingus: 0.2) so any goals scored will be well earned.

Prescott is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Salpointe Catholic just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Badgers' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Mingus hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They never let Arete Prep onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The Marauders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Arete Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophie Walter (3), Marlee Naegle, and Karstyn Richardson.

Mingus' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. Prescott's draw gives them a new season record of 3-0-1.

Prescott skirted past Mingus 1-0 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Prescott repeat their success, or does Mingus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
