Softball Recap: Camden County Comes Up Short

Camden County lost against Washington back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bruins took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pam Pack. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camden County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Campbell Beasley, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Camden County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 21-0 victory against Manteo on the 29th. As for Washington, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Ayden - Grifton on the 29th.
