Basketball Game Preview: Lancaster Red Devils vs. Franklin Broncos

The Lancaster Red Devils will challenge the Franklin Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Lancaster sitting on six straight victories and Franklin on four.

Lancaster is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They breezed past Altavista to the tune of 77-45.

Meanwhile, Franklin didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Northumberland on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win.

Franklin pushed their record up to 16-12 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Lancaster, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Lancaster strolled past Franklin in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a score of 70-53. Does Lancaster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
