Basketball Recap: Perryville Victorious

Perryville won the last time they faced Elkton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Perryville Panthers snuck past the Elkton Golden Elks with a 39-33 win. The 39-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Elkton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Paige Beougher, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Mccullough, who had nine points.

Perryville's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Elkton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Perryville has already played their next matchup, a 60-24 win against North East on the 6th. As for Elkton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-48 victory against Harford Tech on the 7th.
