The Twin Lakes Indians will venture away from home to take on the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Lakes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Twin Lakes made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Delphi Community, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Oracles by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Oracles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Twin Lakes saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Oliver, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double. Jasmine West also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Lafayette Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 25-4 to Rensselaer Central.

Corinne Zehring was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Lafayette Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Twin Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Twin Lakes took their victory against Lafayette Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 20-10 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
