After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Auburn, George Wythe was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Grayson County Blue Devils. Considering George Wythe have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Grayson County from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mason Tate led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

George Wythe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those seven matchups. As for Grayson County, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10-1.

George Wythe has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Galax on the 20th. Grayson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
