Volleyball Recap: Nordhoff Comes Up Short

Nordhoff lost against Malibu back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Nordhoff Rangers lost 3-0 to the Malibu Sharks. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Nordhoff ultimately came up short, they really made Malibu work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-20.

Nordhoff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Malibu, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Nordhoff will take on Beacon Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Malibu, they will square off against Granada Hills Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
