Recap: Dixon Bulldogs vs. Southwest Onslow Stallions
The Dixon Bulldogs lost against the Southwest Onslow Stallions back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Dixon was outmatched by Southwest Onslow on the road and fell 78-35. Dixon has struggled against Southwest Onslow recently, as their match on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Dixon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jziah Hinton, who scored six points. Brayden Anderson-Sidbury was another key contributor, scoring five points along with nine rebounds.
Dixon's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Southwest Onslow, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Dixon will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Neuse Charter at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Neuse Charter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Southwest Onslow will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
