Basketball Recap: Chippewa Falls Takes a Loss

Chippewa Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. The match between them and the River Falls Wildcats didn't end well, with the Chippewa Falls Cardinals falling 47-31. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-36 back in December of 2024.

Chippewa Falls' record is now 1-16. As for River Falls, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

Chippewa Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-52 loss against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln on the 4th. As for River Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-36 defeat against Colfax on the 3rd.
