Recap: Mountain View Mountain Lions vs. Frederick Golden Eagles
The Mountain View Mountain Lions pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-60 to Frederick. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Monday (59), Mountain View still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Bradey Messinger, who scored 25 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Messinger has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Garland, who scored 16 points.
Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Frederick, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Mountain View and Severance will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Frederick, they will head out on the road to challenge Fort Morgan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Morgan is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
