Sierra Grande hadn't beaten Kim/Branson on the road since September 18, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Panthers blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The Panthers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23rd (when they won 3-0).

While Sierra Grande won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-7, 25-23.

Eneria Quintana paced Sierra Grande's offense, picking up ten kills. Quintana got some help from Audrianna Gerardo and her 11 assists. Quintana was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Sierra Grande's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Kim/Branson, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coming up, Sierra Grande will face off against Trinidad at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kim/Branson, they will take on Walsh at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
