Basketball Recap: Newark Comes Up Short

Newark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MOT Charter Mustangs.

Newark's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for MOT Charter, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newark will take on Ferris at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for MOT Charter, they will square off against Dickinson at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st.
