After flying high against York Suburban last Monday, New Oxford came back down to earth. The Colonials fell 7-4 to the Kennard-Dale Rams on Wednesday. The Colonials' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Nolan O'Brien made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

New Oxford's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Kennard-Dale, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Oxford will face off against South Western at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Colonials are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kennard-Dale, they will challenge Octorara Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
