Western had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Logansport Berries get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

The team relied heavily on Brynley Erb, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Jeffers, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Western's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Logansport, with the loss, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 25-5.

Western didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Yorktown on the 3rd. Logansport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
