There's no place like home for Fike, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Southern Wayne Saints on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Southern Wayne saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addison McPhail had five aces, four digs, and one block.

With the win, Fike broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-9. As for Southern Wayne, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the defeat, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Fike and Southern Wayne will both be playing C.B. Aycock the next time they take the court. The Golden Demons will head out to face the Golden Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Saints will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
