It was a good run, but Berea-Midpark unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 55-27 loss at the hands of the Avon Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Eagles are ranked seventh).

Berea-Midpark's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Avon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Berea-Midpark will challenge rival North Ridgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Avon is set to take on their familiar foe Midview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
