Football Recap: Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders vs. Perth Amboy Panthers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cranford, Scotch Plains-Fanwood was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 24-13 win over the Perth Amboy Panthers.
Scotch Plains-Fanwood had a senior duo take command as Jayden Richards rushed for 134 yards while picking up 8.4 yards per carry and Tyiane Rasberry rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. That's the most rushing yards Rasberry has posted since back in August.
Scotch Plains-Fanwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 286 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards in three consecutive games.
