Whitney (Rocklin, Calif.) 35-7.
The Thunder scored on a
Logan Webb touchdown pass to
Andrew Castle and a defensive touchdown in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Webb to
Laurin Blake in the second quarter, Rocklin led 15-0 at the half.
RHS expanded its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. The Thunder scored three times in the third, including once on a field goal by
Max O'Rourke.
Whitney's only touchdown came on a 54-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
Rocklin avenged last year's 48-34 loss to the Wildcats with the victory.
The win was a nice bounce back for RHS, which lost to Oak Ridge last week, 23-21. The win broke Rocklin's two-game losing streak.
Whitney (1-2) will play a non-conference game against Buhach Colony next week, while Rocklin (1-2) will take on Del Campo also in a non-conference game.
