Basketball Recap: Garaway Takes a Loss

Garaway was the 65-51 winner over Malvern when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates took a 41-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets on Friday.

Garaway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Malvern, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Garaway and Malvern will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Pirates will challenge rival Claymont at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Malvern is set to square off against their familiar foe Buckeye Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
