Preview: Branson Pirates vs. Lebanon Yellowjackets
Branson has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lebanon Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Saturday, it was close, but Branson sidestepped Gainesville for a 68-65 win.
Lebanon has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season. They breezed by Marshfield at home to the tune of 78-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lebanon.
Lebanon's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wyatt Carr, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Kelby Vandergrift, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 3-0 season records intact.
Branson didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lebanon in their previous matchup on Friday, but they still walked away with a 51-45 victory. Will Branson repeat their success, or does Lebanon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
