Softball Recap: Colony Knights vs. Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears

While Colony's victory against Juneau-Douglas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Crimson Bears on Saturday. Ten seems to be a good number for the Knights as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Colony's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Emma Minnick, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave Minnick a new career-high. Morgan Gallagher was another, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
