Baseball Recap: Rowland Takes a Loss

Rowland's last matchup with Charter Oak could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Raiders came up short against the Chargers, falling 10-4. The Raiders have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rowland saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Sandez, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Rowland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Charter Oak, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6-1.

Coming up, Rowland will square off against Nogales at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Nobles have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Charter Oak, they will take on Northview at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
