Baseball Recap: Milton Gets the Win

While Milton's win against Beaver Dam wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Hawks had just enough and edged out the Golden Beavers 3-2 on Friday. The Red Hawks haven't had any issues with the Golden Beavers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Quinn Kavanaugh looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Milton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Fitzke, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Milton's record now sits at 17-4. As for Beaver Dam, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.
