Cascade and South Putnam are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Cascade Cadets will head out on the road to challenge the South Putnam Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. South Putnam took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cascade, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Cascade got the win against Speedway by a conclusive 74-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cadets.

Cascade smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Speedway only pulled down nine.
Meanwhile, a win for South Putnam just wasn't in the cards on Thursday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost 61-39 to Edgewood. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
South Putnam's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cascade, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Cascade against South Putnam in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 63-29 win.
