Softball Recap: Vidalia Takes a Loss

Vidalia fell victim to Franklin Parish and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to the Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in February.

Vidalia dropped their record down to 7-17 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Franklin Parish, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vidalia will challenge Family Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Parish, they will take on Mangham at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
