Volleyball Game Preview: Carver Crusaders vs. South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings

Carver has won four straight games at home, while South Shore Vo-Tech has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Crusaders will host the Vikings at 5:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Carver earned a 3-1 victory over Mashpee.

Meanwhile, South Shore Vo-Tech was able to grind out a solid win over Bristol-Plymouth RVT on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

South Shore Vo-Tech found their leader in freshman Luca Torrey, who had 18 digs and three aces.

South Shore Vo-Tech was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

South Shore Vo-Tech's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Carver, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.

Everything went Carver's way against South Shore Vo-Tech in their previous meeting back in September, as Carver made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
