Soccer Recap: Mabank's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Mabank was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Ford last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mabank Panthers lost 7-3 to the Palestine Wildcats on Thursday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Mabank's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four contests. As for Palestine, they pushed their record up to 18-5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Mabank does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palestine, they will face off against Madisonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Madisonville will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Palestine surely won't give up without a fight.
