If Corry was riding high fresh off their 16-2 takedown of Conneaut Area last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beavers fell just short of the Fairview Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Beavers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Corry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Fairview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Corry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairview, they will head out to challenge Warren at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.19 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
