Davison posted their closest win since September 2nd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Stevenson Spartans 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Davison's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Stevenson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Davison beat the Spartans by a score of 2-1 later that day.
